Daniella Gilles is the Director of Development for Haiti Teen Challenge (HTC), where she leads strategic development initiatives aimed at transforming lives and empowering communities.
With over two decades of experience in youth engagement and international diplomacy, Daniella Gilles has dedicated her career to mentorship and global service.
Before joining HTC, Daniella Gilles served as a Canadian diplomat with postings in Cameroon, Lebanon, Guyana, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Her most recent role was as Chief of Staff to the Canadian Ambassador in Haiti, where she played a key role in managing diplomatic initiatives and supporting humanitarian efforts in the region.
Born in Montreal and now based in Ottawa, Canada, Daniella Gilles is passionate about amplifying the stories of HTC’s students and graduates. She co-leads her church youth choir and remains deeply involved in community development work.
Daniella holds a BA in English Literature and History from Southern Wesleyan University in South Carolina and is pursuing an MBA at Eastern University in Pennsylvania.
She is also the proud owner of Milly, a sweet Haitian rescue dog, who brings her great joy.
