Julio Volcy is an evangelical pastor and active civil society leader. Since 2009 he has been leading Haiti Teen Challenge. As a co-founder of HTC, Julio is passionate about sharing the Gospel and building Godly leaders of integrity. An innovator, consistently seeking new ways to bring healing to his nation. He is illustrating that Christ-like action, powered by the gospel, will restore lives and nations. As the founding senior Pastor at Rendez-Vous Church (RVC) Julio leads the partnership between the two organizations.
Prior to this appointment with Haiti Teen Challenge, Julio served as president of Hope Outreach International and Senior pastor at Hope Community Church.
Born and raised in Haiti, Julio grew up fatherless and understands what it means to struggle for every need. While he completed his university studies in the U.S, he always knew that his call was to return to Haiti to serve his people. Recognized as one of the five most influential Haitian Christian Civil Society leaders, Julio inspires global leaders from different continents. His influence spans from mentoring local youth to engaging with the UN Secretary-General, U.S. President, U.S. Secretary of State, and CARICOM Heads of State. Having met with and advised nearly every Haitian head of state since 2012 and served as Vice-Chair of the Haitian Entrepreneurs Christian Chamber of Commerce, and currently serving as Chair of Civil Society MPARE, his message remains steadfast: Haiti and the world need Godly leaders of integrity.
Julio is an author of 3 books: Sous-Préssion, Haiti Beyond Limits, Love Is Not Blind.
Husband to Suzette and father of four children, Julio earned an under-graduate and graduate degree from Beacon University and a Doctor of Ministry from Christian Life School of Theology and Seminary.
