Annie was valedictorian and class president at Christ the King Secretarial School before joining the US State Department as a Consular Assistant. She worked with the American Citizen Services Unit of the US Embassy in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, from 2010 to 2020.
In 2018, she felt the call from the Lord to go into full-time ministry. Still, she hesitated until August 2020, when she officially started at Haiti Teen Challenge as the Haiti Development Officer. Before and after her official start date, Annie volunteered at RVC Church as a Worship team member and led the Church Programming department, translation, and decoration teams.
“I have always felt drawn to serving others. My belief is that I was born to serve and do so with all my heart. The mission of HTC is one that I embrace wholeheartedly, and I constantly strive to give my best to make sure HTC is seen and known for the extraordinary work that it is doing in the lives of young men and women in Haiti: One young man or woman at a time, towards a transformed generation for Christ.”
